Juice Nursery is a privately owned nursery and is managed and run by Linda Gibson. It opened it doors for the first time on the 1st October 2007.
Linda is a qualified Registered Nurse and Midwife with over 30 years experience. As the proprietor of the nursery Linda is very proud of its excellent reputation and the high quality provision it provides for all children, parents and staff.
She is also the Operational Nursery Manager and assists in the daily running of the Nursery. Linda and the rest of the staff are very much “hands on” within the nursery.
The nursery has two 6 seater Kinder Van which staff use daily to take children to local parks and access the local community.
The opening hours of the nursery are from 7.45am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. We ask that parents do not arrive before this time to allow staff to set up the nursery in preparation of the nursery day.
The Nursery is open 51 weeks of the year closing for a week at Christmas and all statutory Bank Holidays (which will be charged at the normal rate).
Juice Nursery is located in the centre of Altrincham and is registered with Ofsted to cater for up to 82 children. The central locality enables easy access to Manchester Metro, Bus and the Motorway access.
Juice nursery is one half of what was Altrincham Town Hall; it is an old Victorian building which has been complimented with a 1million pound refurbishment inside to accommodate a Boutique Nursery.
From the outside it still has the ornate grandeur of a Victorian building and is very in keeping with the local area, inside represents a contemporary nursery with all the latest technology, handmade furniture and resources to deliver Highest of Quality Provision meeting the holistic needs of children and their global development. The building has three floors which serve a variety of purposes:
The Basement floor consists of the kitchen, office, laundry and staff rooms. The first floor parents and children enter through a security release locked door manned by staff at the main reception area.
This floor comprises of the Seaside Room, cloak room facilities and bathrooms. There is a Communal Room leading to the outside play area. The upper floor consists of the Woodlands Room and the Nautical Room with further cloak rooms and bathroom facilities
Within the nursery children are placed in rooms which are specific to age ranges in accordance to Ofsted guidelines:
In all three rooms there are superfluous staff employed above the adult-child ratios to allow for the continuation of high quality provision and care, staff training, holidays and extra curricular activities.
