A new way of communicating with our parents!

Over the past few months we have been in the process of rolling out software package Orbit across the nursery. Having initially trialed this in our pre-school, we were so impressed by Orbit’s capabilities & ease of use that we are now introducing this right across the nursery. For those of you not familiar with Orbit, it is new technology, used in many schools, that enables us here at Juice to record & assess a child’s development, whilst safely & securely sharing this information with parents at home, who can quickly & easily upload details of their child’s learning journey. Orbit is proving to be a fantastic way in helping keep parents up to date on their individual child’s learning & achievements, whilst also giving us the means to incorporate any relevant home activities into our assessments – a great development for us here at Juice!

The Hale & Altrincham Baby & Children’s Fair – April 2013

Thanks to everyone who helped to make our second Hale & Altrincham Baby & Children’s Fair such a great success – whether it was by donating prizes to the raffle or tombola, taking a stand or simply by coming along on the day. Once again there was a queue as we opened our doors and we gave out all our goodie bags in record time! A special thanks to Raring2Go for their continued support and of course a big shout out to all our fabulous exhibitors – Neil Barrett Photography, Mo’Bou, Casting Memories, Love Prints, Belle Macaron, Kraamzorg UK, Joy & Joe Baby, Fuzzy Duck Books, LJS Crafts, Candy Cart, My Little Kit, Vanilla Heart, A Bairns Necessity, Little Superstars, Bolly Babies, Rhythm Time, Village Toy Company, Tiny Talk, Betty & Belle, Jo Jingles, Tiny Witchery Jewellery, Bumps & Bashes, Crazies Facepainting & last but not least, Pyjama Drama! With lots of jungle-themed activities for the children, provided by our good selves, we were delighted to raise over £200 for Ronald McDonald House at The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital through our ‘good as new’ tombola & raffle. Such was the success of the fair that we think we will do it all again in October – hope to see you then!?
