Toddle Waddle for Francis House

Juice Nursery were out in force today, with over 50 children, together with parents and staff taking part in our sponsored walk, which took us through Altrincham and around Stamford Park, to raise funds for Francis House Children’s Hospice.

We raised a most marvellous £323 for this fabulous charity, so a BIG thank you to all those of you who supported us! :)

February’s Family Fun Day

A very big THANK YOU to all of our Juice Nursery parents, children and staff who came along and supported our second Juice Nursery Family Fun Day on Saturday. Big shout outs also go to Milena from Mess Around Cheshire & South Manchester and Laura from Rhythm Time Trafford for keeping us all well and truly entertained.

We sang, danced, played instruments, blew bubbles and got very very messy…. and to top it all, it even snowed….!

And, as well as having lots of fabulous fun, we also raised a fantastic £181, which all goes to The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust

Spreading a little love this Christmas!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone at Juice Nursery who so very kindly bought gifts, toys, clothes, toiletries, wrapping paper and food in support of our appeal to donate to Wood Street Mission, who seek to support families in our area who are struggling to make ends meet this Christmas.

We were simply blown away by the number of donations we have received and want to thank you so very much for helping spread a little love this Christmas time.

In addition to our collection we also ran a raffle, raising funds for the charity. So, a BIG shout out to everyone who supported our raffle, either buying tickets, or for generously donating prizes. We raised a magnificent £108 and would like to thank you once again for your support – we really do appreciate it

Family fun, down on the farm!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to all the lovely parents, children and staff who came and supported our Juice Nursery Family Fun Day at Red House Farm.

Great fun was had by all, we raised £175 from our ticket sales, which has been donated to Harry and Jock’s Appeal AND what’s more the sun even shone…. we couldn’t have asked for more!

A big shout out to Jonny and his team at Red House for all that they did to help the afternoon run smoothly…. the barrel train in particular was a massive hit with the children (and a few parents too!)

Same time next year??!

Have a Heart Update

We are delighted to be able to share with you that our Juice Nursery AED, purchased using funds raised from our ‘Have a Heart Appeal’ has now reached it’s permanent home, and is located in a cabinet on the side of Altrincham Market (on the corner of Greenwood Street and Shaw’s Road).

Whilst clearly we hope it is never needed, the device is there so that in case of emergency it might be available to use by members of our local ‪Altrincham‬ community, as well as by the nursery.

The AED has been registered with the North West Ambulance Service who will give out the access code to the cabinet following a ’999′ call.

The defibrillator is fully automated and therefore very easy to use, as spoken instructions are provided at each stage. That said, we will be setting up a free demonstration session, OPEN TO ALL, led by Paul from First Responder, who carries out all our First Aid training requirements here at Juice.

Toddle Waddle

We did it! The staff, children and parents of Juice Nursery were out in force this morning around ‪Altrincham‬, enjoying the sunshine on our Toddle Waddle, whilst raising funds for Meningitis Now. All back safe and sound, in good time for lunch and a well deserved rest!

Well done to all those who took part, and thank you to all our lovely parents for supporting us… we raised a fantastic £828 in total, so a big, big shout out to everyone who donated – we really do appreciate it.

I CAN’s Chatterbox Challenge

Thanks to you all for supporting our Chatterbox Challenge, which was fabulous fun. Not only did we manage to raise a most marvellous £50, which will go the charity I CAN, who support children in the UK with speech, language and communication difficulties, but we had lots of fun at the same time too!

With Ben & Holly themed fun & activities taking place throughout the day, as well as our special singalongs, we ended the day with a delicious Elf & Fairy Tea Party. Yummy!

So, a big shout out to those of you who donated – we really do appreciate it – and to all our staff for all the effort that they put in to make the day such a success! Thank you :)
