Staff Members of the Month – September

Staff Member of the Month – May

Staff Member of the Month – March
Congratulations to Chanelle Robinson, our Staff Member of the Month in March who was nominated by a parent for really going the extra mile.
“I would just like to say thank you so much to Chanelle in Orange Room for a lovely Parent’s Evening. It was an accurate report and Chanelle was able to give lots examples of how Lucy is coping in Orange Room. Chanelle was very professional last night and has such a lovely manner with Lucy. Hand overs are always detailed and Chanelle knows exactly what Lucy has been up to in the day. The Orbit updates are also extremely detailed, well written and give us a real insight into Lucy’s day. I would like to nominate Chanelle for your ‘Employee of the Month’ for her lovely, warm and friendly manner.’
Well done, Chanelle!

Congratulations go to Kate Cartledge, our Preschool Teacher, who was named our Juice Nursery Staff Member of the Month in January.
NDNA Nursery of the Year Awards 2018 are OPEN
We are very proud of our nursery and the quality of care that we provide and would like to publicly acknowledge the efforts of our fabulous team by entering the 2018 NDNA Nursery of the Year Awards.
The NDNA (National Day Nurseries Association) seek to reward and celebrate excellence across the sector, through an annual awards programme, highlighting the fantastic work of nurseries in supporting over one million children and their families.
The programme is open to all nurseries across the UK and are the ONLY awards voted for by parents. As a setting we have entered the ’Nursery of the Year‘ category, which seeks to recognise exceptional settings, providing excellent levels of care to their children.
So, if you would like to show your appreciation for the work that we do then please vote for us, by clicking here. To support your vote please include comments, highlighting what it is that you (and your child!) love and value most about Juice Nursery.
As well as entering as a setting we have also Danielle Norwood forward in the Practitioner of the Year category.
With a passion for all things early years, and a dedication to ensuring that all the children within our setting receive the highest possible level of care, Danielle is an exceptional member of our team, who has found her vocation in life, working with passion and consistently going the extra mile.
Originally joining Juice Nursery in 2008, on a college placement, Danielle has risen through the ranks, from Apprentice to Childcare Worker, to Senior, before being promoted to Room Leader in 2017.
With a key focus on ensuring that we are a truly inclusive setting, Danielle has been the nursery SENCO since 2013, a role that she relishes.
As well as overseeing our SEND provision, Danielle is a Safeguarding Officer, a role which she proactively developed last year, taking responsibility for ensuring all Policies and Procedures are regularly review and updated, as well as running a Safeguarding Refresher Workshop for her colleagues, covering a number of areas including British Values and The Prevent Duty.
With a wealth of experience, bubbly personality and ‘can do’ approach, Danielle is an extremely positive role model, which has also seen her mentoring Apprentices joining the nursery.
Ultimately aspiring to become a Pre School Teacher within a nursery setting, and part of the management team, Danielle is a reflective practitioner, who strives to evolve her practice and, as a result, proactively seeks to continue her professional development.
To register your vote for Danielle click here, providing comments, if possible, detailing why you think Danielle should be the lucky winner of this award.
Thank you for your support
